Hi! I’m Michaela, and I’m so glad you’re here!
I’m a proud dog mom, houseplant enthusiast, and music educator based in St. Louis. I’ve spent the last five years building a joyful, affirming, and radically inclusive career in the arts—and I’m just getting started!
By day, I serve as the Fine Arts Coordinator and Middle School Music Teacher at North Side Community School. I’m also the Artistic Director of CHARIS, the St. Louis Women’s Chorus, where I lead an incredible community of singers in creating powerful and resonant performances that center queer voices and lived experiences.
In the summer, I offer one-on-one voice lessons focused on finding your voice—literally and figuratively. Whether we’re working on technique, confidence, or a little emotional regulation (because let’s be real, music is healing!), my goal is always to co-create a space that feels safe, brave, and celebratory.
As I dive deeper into my career, I am always on the lookout for new collaborations that uplift community, creativity, and connection.
Let’s make music together—I can’t wait to meet you!
