Hi! I’m Michaela, and I’m so glad you’re here!
I’m a proud dog mom, houseplant enthusiast, and music educator based in St. Louis. I’ve spent the last ten years building a joyful, affirming, and radically inclusive career in the arts—and I’m just getting started!
By day, I teach private lessons at my studio, Moonstone Music. Whether we’re working on technique, confidence, or a little emotional regulation (because music is healing!), my goal is always to co-create a space that feels safe, supported, and curious.
By night, I’m lucky enough to be the Artistic Director of CHARIS Chorus St. Louis, where I direct an incredible community of singers in creating powerful and resonant performances that center queer voices and radical joy.
As I dive deeper into my career, I am always on the lookout for new collaborations that uplift community, creativity, and connection.
